Your tasks

• Start with a 12 months fixed term contract.
• Join our corporate Information Security Team in Cologne and support the global IT Governance and Information Security strategy, programs, projects and services within RTL Group.
• Contribute directly to the improvement of our overall Information Security maturity level by collaborating on relevant projects: 
  • Implementation of a new Information Security Management System (ISMS) application;
  • Security program focusing on cloud and application security;
  • Establishment and promotion of a set of revised RTL Group Information Security policies;
  • Conducting DR testing on central/corporate applications and developing the related Business Continuity Plans.
• Collaborate with and support the development of our global ISO community, while working closely with other corporate departments such as IT, Risk Management, and Internal Audit.

Your profile

• You have a relevant university degree e.g., in Information Security, Business and Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Science. 
• You show interest or have first experience in IT audit/consultancy, IT projects or IT risk management, also through internships.
• You are interested in international IT and Information Security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001/27002, ISO22301, COBIT, NIST). 
• You are open to learn and obtain initial certifications in Information Security (e.g., SSCP, Security+).
• You are interested in security and data protection regulations (e.g., NIS2, GDPR, ePrivacy).
• You are fluent in English (written and spoken), fluency in French or German is an advantage. 
• You have excellent communication skills.
• You are hands-on, self-motivated, results driven and mobile for frequent business travels.
