Your tasks

• The department Controlling & Investments is supporting the RTL Group Executive Committee, primarily the CFO, in the strategic management of the RTL Group analysis of portfolio companies’ performance and the evaluation of investments, divestments, and strategic business initiatives. 
• As Analyst in the department Controlling & Investments, you are part of a dynamic and international team, covering the strategic controlling of RTL Group - your key tasks include:
• Drive financial planning & analysis processes, including forecasting and budgeting.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for the top management, including research and benchmarking of operational drivers of our businesses.
• Support the monthly management reporting process to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the financial reporting. 
• Prepare financial analyses of RTL Group, markets and competitors in close partnership with other Headquarter departments.
• Support the department’s contribution in finance-related projects like the RTL Group-wide transformation project TRANS4M.

Your profile

• An excellent university degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent, ideally with a focus on Finance or Accounting.
• Relevant experience in the area of Controlling, Finance or Consulting, also through internships.
• Outstanding analytical capabilities with great attention to detail, strong commitment, and good business sense.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to partner with teams across departments, businesses, and territories.
• Fluency in English, a strong command of German and/or French language is a significant advantage.
• Profound skills in MS Office applications (primarily Excel, PowerPoint), experience in SAP Financial Consolidation is a plus.
