Your Tasks

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the services built by the Videoland Onboarding team.
• Lead the team in architecture and technical decisions, responsible for creating and maintaining the technical vision, design, and development of the systems and services the team owns.
• Ensure the team follows best practices and industry standards regarding architecture and software design.
• Actively promote a high-quality code culture and coach your team to become better software engineers.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning, by guiding the team in adopting new technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in the solutions developed.
• Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by the team.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and help them grow.
• Help the team to identify and address technical debt, and mitigate technical risks.
• Participate in the Guilds and share knowledge, encouraging and developing good engineering practices.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to maximize business value.
• Define, maintain, and implement the architectural roadmap together with your team.

Your Profile

• You live in the Netherlands and can work together with the team in our Hilversum office at least 2 times a week.
• A passionate software engineer with a strong background in C# and a thorough understanding of the .NET framework.
• A person who has experience in creating and maintaining the technical vision, design, and development of systems and services, and has a solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• You have a completed university or higher vocational education, preferably in the field of Computer Science.
• You have at least 5-7 years of experience working as a .NET engineer.
• You have experience as a technical lead in a team of software engineers and have a track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and robust solutions.

Your Team

As a member of the Onboarding team, you together with your team will be responsible for all activities surrounding the onboarding, managing, and invoicing of all Videoland subscribers. Videoland is one of the major online streamers in the Netherlands with big ambitions. This means that any new capability on the platform needs to be correctly incorporated into the subscription options and billed accordingly.
