Your tasks

  • The Financial Controller will be a key figure in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization. Reporting to the Head of Financial Controlling, this role involves overseeing financial reporting, ensuring tax compliance, coordinating audits, managing treasury functions, and upholding internal controls and compliance. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our finance department, providing accurate financial data, insight, and strategic support to the management team.
  • Month-End Closing: Lead the month-end closing process for designated entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain strong partnerships with shared service centers and external accountants to guarantee smooth and efficient operations.
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and delivery of financial reports for specified entities, adhering strictly to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Communicate these insights effectively to business leaders, fostering transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Audit Coordination: Lead and facilitate the audit process, acting as the primary liaison between the company and both external and internal auditors. Ensure that all financial reports and statements undergo rigorous examination and meet the highest standards of accuracy.
  • Treasury Functions: Support the treasury operations, including meticulous cash monitoring and strategic hedging activities, to align with overarching treasury policies and safeguard the company's financial stability.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Maintain and continuously enhance internal control mechanisms to manage financial risks effectively. Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations and internal policies, upholding the integrity and compliance of financial operations.
  • Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Contribute to the financial analysis and forecasting processes, providing critical support that guides strategic business decisions. 
  • Team Collaboration: Act as a catalyst for change within the Financial Controlling and Billing teams, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement. Lead by example in fostering cross-departmental collaboration and driving operational efficiencies across the board.


Your profile

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial controlling or related field. Experience with Big 4 audit firms is highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate in a multicultural and international environment
  • Ambitious, with a strong desire to grow, learn, and tackle new challenges, driving continuous improvement within the financial domain
  • Fluent in English and German (Italian and French a plus)
