Your tasks

  • You will work in a small team and have the responsibility on development, delivery and management of defined commercial products within the Adformats & Propositions branch. Examples of products: Media Collections, the attention programme and green media.
  • Develop new products following the defined strategy. 
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage your products through their lifecycle and operate the product management tools that tracks this.
  • Be responsible for yield and optimisation strategy of the revenues that your products generate.
  • Evangelise and consult on your product range internally and externally.
  • Contribute to defining the product strategy for RTL AdAlliance in collaboration with other departments.

 

Your profile

  • More than 4 years in digital advertising environments
  • Ideally background at a media agency or publisher saleshouse
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment with cross department teamwork
  • Knowledge, experience and proven track record in commercial product / portfolio development around video formats (instream, outstream, CTV), programmatic advertising, reseller propositions, KPI optimization, ad verification, transaction models (CPCV etc), video player / SDK development
  • Our product developments come with deadlines. To secure proper output, time management is an important skill
  • Proper understanding of product management methodologies and tools
  • Good understanding of the technical setup required for products that you work on. You know what questions to ask and how to challenge the technical teams and / or vendors
  • Good view on how the market is developing and what solutions would be relevant to harvest the opportunities that these developments bring. You understand the bigger picture and develop this to a strategy for the development of your products.
  • Proper understanding of the sales process, the type of conversations and the requirements our clients bring to the table
  • Understanding of the value of marketing and know how to brief marketing teams to bring the USP’s of the products you develop across
  • Fluent in English. Any other language (German, Dutch, French, Italian etc.) could be an asset
  • This open position could be located (depending of the candidates) in Hamburg, Cologne, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Milan or Stockholm.
