The Strategic Alliances Manager is accountable for maintaining relationships with and managing the day-to-day activities for Relias’ largest and most strategic partners, as well as identifying opportunities for new partnerships that drive value to the business.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: 

  • Owning the relationships and day-to-day management of Partners, acting as liaison between Relias and the partner.
    • Proactively resolving any issues that arise with the partner.
    • Negotiating and managing Partnership Terms and Conditions in accordance with Relias’ Partnership Program standards.
    • Ensuring accurate reporting; working with the Finance team to confirm accurate payout calculations.
    • Monitoring and reporting on partner performance.
    • Continuously evaluating partnerships and making adjustments as needed to optimize business outcomes.
    • Managing renewal and termination process for current partners.
    • Conducting quarterly and annual partnership reviews.
  • Working with Product Management and Corporate Development to identify potential partners who are aligned to Relias’ strategy and business objectives.
    • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor strategies to help inform partnership approaches.
    • Identifying opportunities for partnership expansion in alignment with Relias’ strategy and goals.
    • Researching and evaluating new potential partners that align with company vision, objectives, and goals.
    • Collaborating with Product Management, Sales, and others to align partnership goals with company strategy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a partner or client management or related role
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to establish and manage trusted relationships with senior business leaders
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Demonstrated history of project management skills
  • Demonstrated history of negotiation skills
  • Strategic and data-driven thinker, capable of analyzing partner value and building business cases for partner benefits
  • Hands-on, self-directed person who plans, prepares, and executes professionally
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and initiative
  • Experience with SalesForce a plus
  • Familiarity with Relias content and products a plus

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT (MINIMUM)

  • Bachelors’ Degree

 

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:

Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities.  Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute).  You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30 days/quarter.
