WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Serving as the Cloud Platform Solution Owner, responsible for oversight of the implementation and ongoing management of Relias cloud solutions and capabilities
  • Working alongside the technology team to help create a unified strategy for cloud transformation governance, automation, security, implementation and operations at Relias 
  • Establishing and directing a cloud services team to ensure proper support of cloud platforms and capabilities.
  • Serving as a cloud evangelist, consulting and providing technical guidance on cloud solutions and capabilities, design, build, governance, security, operations and cost control best practices
  • Working closely with Marketplace Product Owner and other internal business stakeholders in identifying solution requirements and key case-studies/scenarios for future solutions
  • Enabling cloud service provider journey (prefer GCP and/or Azure), analyzing total cost of ownership (TCO) and collaborating with Product Owner to create supporting business cases 
  • Analyzing existing application and IT services portfolios, developing asset migrations, transformation and automation roadmap
  • Conducting cloud infrastructure architecture review/audit and creating review/audit report
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices
  • Creating a unified strategy for cloud transformation governance, automation, security, implementation and operations

 

YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:

  • 10+ years of hands-on technical leadership for large-scale, cloud-based, and open source projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Industry experience in cloud computing, enterprise software, operating systems, security, storage, or network services
  • Hands-on Experience and understanding of cloud computing Infrastructure and services (prefer GCP and/or Azure)
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
  • Experience with architected applications using Event-Driven and Microservice design patterns
  • Solid understanding of Container Orchestrators such as Kubernetes and Service Mesh infrastructure layer such as Istio
  • Experience in creating and developing marketplaces is strongly preferred
  • Experience in working in a start-up environment and/or in healthcare industry is nice to have
  • Cloud Computing Certifications (prefer GCP and/or Azure)
  • Proven web applications software development experience with expertise in client-side technologies (Angular and JavaScript frontend frameworks) and using Java, Spring Boot Framework, MongoDB, and API Gateway in a service architecture  
  • Experience with cloud design patterns and deploying applications to the cloud (prefer GCP and/or Azure) 
  • Mastery of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines     
  • Deep understanding of architecture, design, and business processes, especially in a modern cloud and UI environment 
  • Clear understanding of various software delivery frameworks including but not limited to Agile frameworks
  • Advanced knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
  • Experience implementing quality guidelines, standards and procedures
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management     
  • Expertise in working in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals     
  • Passionate about building innovative Private or Public Cloud Implementations
  • Leadership experience with cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, including ability to establish strong relationships across the organization and communicate complex concepts in an easily understandable manner
