The Relias UX Team owns the user experience of all Relias products in pursuit of our goal of an intuitive, engaging, and effective experience for all Relias users.  

Our designers and researchers conduct user research, facilitate design thinking, and produce design deliverables in close collaboration with our empowered Product and Engineering teams, engaging at every level of the product life cycle, from initial strategy to execution to iteration and back again. We foster an open, collaborative culture that encourages innovation and empowers each team member to contribute their unique skills and perspectives throughout the process. 



  • Lead a team of UX Designers to produce their best work within the Relias UX Team processes. 

  • Collaborate with the UX team members, partners, and stakeholders to proactively lead the continual improvement of UX processes and resources. 

  • Determine and maintain key performance indicators to continually measure and improve the efficacy of UX design at Relias. 

  • Conduct regular, actionable feedback sessions that result in iterative design improvements and positive sentiment from all parties. 

  • Coach team members to select and execute effective strategies for any design problem. 

  • Coach team members to produce high quality design and research output as assigned. 

  • Drive the continual improvement of user-facing work by the gathering and analysis of relevant qualitative and quantitative data. 

  • Maintain reasonable subject-matter expertise of all Relias product lines and initiatives to provide support for assigned UX Team members. 

  • Continuous review and assessment of design operations that enable the team to produce high quality and transparent work including new work intake, documentation of projects and processes, tool evaluations and learning opportunities.  

  • Facilitate design thinking workshops. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 



  • Ability to closely collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders on complex strategic challenges and detailed product requirements. 

  • Confident understanding and the ability to advocate for UX best practices, with a special emphasis on accessibility and inclusion. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication. 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Empathy and aptitude for learning our diverse clients’ businesses and day-to-day experiences in order to better deliver intuitive, engaging, and effective product designs. 

  • Seven or more years of UX design experience (or the equivalent).  

  • Capability with the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Miro. 

  • Experience with complex SaaS products, especially in a healthcare context, is a plus. 

  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS is a plus.
