eBook Operations Manager (12-month FTC)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced eBook Operations Manager to oversee of our eBook team on an initial 12-month FTC.

 

This role serves as the primary point of escalation within the team for Publishing Operations senior management and key stakeholders across the business. As our eBook Operations Manager, you will ensure best practices in eBook production and distribution and lead initiatives to improve workflows and meet business requirements.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Provide pastoral care and support for the eBook Operations team.

  • Act as the key liaison and escalation point within the eBook department for senior management

  • Manage key stakeholder relationships across the Business.

  • Implement and maintain best practices and workflows within the eBook team

  • Coordinate work practices with the wider Publishing Operations department and other internal and external parties.

  • Understand eBook Accessibility requirements and implement changes necessary to meet the European Accessibility Act 2025.

  • Manage relationships with retailers and third-party suppliers to achieve operational excellence.

  • Work closely with Production, Bibliographic & ONIX and Digital Sales teams

  • Manage and support the eBook Technical team on technical issues and developments.

  • Proven experience in eBook production and distribution.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to implement and maintain best practices and workflows.

  • Proactive and adaptable to change.

  • Technical knowledge of eBook formats and distribution channels.

Salary

 

£45,000 - £50,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
