eBook Coordinator (12-month FTC)
Are you passionate about digital content and the world of publishing?
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous eBook Coordinator to join our eBooks team on a 12-month FTC.
As our eBook Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for all eBook-content related queries across Penguin Random House. Your role will involve managing all eBook-only conversions, corrections and updates. You will also provide crucial support to our Production and eBooks teams, helping to ensure that every Penguin Random House eBook meets our high standards and is delivered on time.
Key responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contact for all eBook content-related queries across divisions.

Conduct quality checks on complex eBooks, such as illustrated titles and cookbooks, ensuring compliance with Penguin Random House eBook Guidelines.

Perform quality checks on high-profile eBooks and spot checks across the eBook catalogue.

Oversee front- and backlist eBook-only conversions, providing schedule and cost advice to our Editorial teams, including eBook bundles and samples.

Implement corrections to backlist titles based on retailer feedback, customer complaints, or editorial requests.

Manage eBook-only updates, both in-house and through outsourcing, including marketing updates, cover swaps, and reconversions of outdated EPUB files.

Collaborate with the Customer Operations Manager to troubleshoot and resolve errors during weekly eBook deliveries.

Assist with the implementation and rollout of technical and design specification updates in conjunction with the eBook Technical team.

Facilitate the integration of new suppliers and conduct training sessions for Production and divisional teams as needed.

Provide Production with the necessary resources and support to ensure timely delivery of all eBooks to the agreed specifications and quality standards.
