Publishing Coordinator, Quadrille (Design)

The role
Reporting to the Design Manager, as Publishing Coordinator within our Design team, you'll play a key role in managing and updating digital design content, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the creative process. You’ll be sharing this role with another Publishing Coordinator who also works 3 days a week, so being collaborative and a team player is essential for this role.
Responsibilities will include:
- Updating and maintaining design content in Firebrand
- Uploading design content for Amazon
- Coding all design/photography/illustration invoices and keeping tracks of costs
- Sending out author/agent copies and foreign editions
- Linking hi-res images and making final PDFs for Firebrand and Amazon
- Downloading and uploading files from repro, creating any images needed for eBooks, and batching JPEGs for Publicity and creating contact sheets
- Creating cover assets for all books
- Other ad hoc administrative duties to support the wider team.
What you’ll bring:
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, and attention to detail
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting various administrative duties
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- An interest in the books Quadrille works with and the publishing industry more widely
- A familiarity with design tools and software, such as Firebrand and Adobe Creative Suite, is not essential but would be an advantage

- Demonstrable interest in Publishing and in the books Quadrille publishes
- Proven written ability showcased through your application
- Experience/ Knowledge of MS Office Excel/Word/ Outlook
- Demonstrable understanding of managing multiple stakeholders at varying seniorities
- Demonstrable communication skills

Salary
£16,500 for 3 days a week (£27,500 fte), plus benefits.

For this role, we expect that you will attend the office at least 2 days a week, and we will discuss this through the recruitment process.
