Online Sales Executive

 We have an exciting opportunity to join our Online Sales team as an Online Sales Executive.

 

The role

Maximising sales online in all formats is a key strategic priority for our business.  To deliver that it is essential that our books and authors have the strongest presence on retail platforms. As Online Sales Executive in the central online team, you will be responsible for helping to grow online sales across print books, ebooks and audiobooks in all markets.

 

You will provide administrative and sales support to the busy Online Sales team. Your primary goal will be to help drive sales growth by providing administrative and analytical support, implementing online best practices, and analysing global sales trends.

 

We are looking for someone who is commercially driven with a genuine interest in sales and is comfortable analysing sales and marketing data.

 

As an Online Sales Executive you will have excellent communication skills, be an effective and persuasive communicator and have great interpersonal skills.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Provide regular market and sales trend analysis across all markets, publishing houses and formats.
  • Work closely with online sales team to ensure smooth account management, help set up new customer accounts and implement online best practice.
  • Work closely with the online sales team to ensure our products are optimised across global retailer platforms
  • Provide key retailers with sales, market and consumer insight analysis on key titles.
  • Provide active new title sell-in, marketing, highlights, and ad-hoc title updates across the entire PRH list to aid title curation and optimal positioning on site.
  • Support on digital pricing tests and implementation

 

About you

  • Strong administrative skills, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills with experience of multitasking and handling competing priorities.
  • Demonstrable analytical ability and numeracy skills.
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and analytical
  • Is strong team player with interpersonal sensitivity.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work autonomously using initiative.

Salary: Up to £32,000 depending on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits
