Our Marketing Development team within our Audiences, Brand and Communications division are looking for a data savvy, problem-solver to join the them as their new Marketing Analyst.

 

You’ll be working alongside other analysts, email marketing specialists and digital marketing experts to help our marketing teams make better decisions.

Your role will include analysing marketing data across online behaviour, search engine key words and social media data, to draw valuable insights and actionable recommendations for our colleagues across our nine Publishing Houses. You will work with marketing teams across the business to provide guidance on defining the right goals and KPIs for our online properties and marketing campaigns.

 

You’ll work collaboratively with our Marketing Development Executive to run ad optimisation experiments, writing-up hypothesis, building and monitoring test structure frameworks, to share back key learnings effectively to our Marketing and Sales teams.

 

You’ll lead on building dashboards that help stakeholders understand how our online author and brand channels are growing and most importantly, how readers are engaging with us.

 

We’re looking for you to champion user centric thinking to help content producers understand how they can make their content more discoverable and accessible online.

 

Key skills:

  • Experience drawing insights from large data sets (advanced Excel skills)
  • Experience in digital advertising and optimisation  
  • Working knowledge of web analytics (experience with Adobe Analytics is a plus)
  • Strong written, visual and verbal communication skills
  • Curious of people and technologies

 

Desirable:

  • SEO and keyword research experience
  • Interest in data visualisation (Power BI) 
  • Interest in/basic knowledge of Python and SQL
  • Experience with email marketing
