We have an exciting opportunity for a Managing Editorial Coordinator to join Cornerstone. Reporting to the Managing Editorial Director, you will provide editorial and administrative support, helping to ensure that books run to schedule, and you will also be responsible for the editorial work for one of the bestselling authors in the world, James Patterson.
  
This isn’t an entry-level position: as well as excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, you’ll have experience of working in an editorial environment and a clear understanding of the stages that text passes through in the production process. You’ll work with a number of teams across the business, so you’ll need strong communication and project management skills.
 
Your daily tasks will include coordinating the checking of our jackets and covers, updating systems, and preparing prelim pages and endmatter for production. You’ll need impeccable spelling and grammar, and proofreading and copy-editing experience would be an advantage.
 
You’ll also be providing assistance on a range of fiction and non-fiction, black & white and colour-illustrated titles in a range of formats across Cornerstone’s imprints: Century, Arrow, Random House Business, #Merky Books, and Hutchinson Heinemann.

Salary: £26,000 plus bonus and benefits
