Head of Digital Media (6-month FTC)
Are you a visionary and strategic leader with a passion for digital media?
We are seeking a Head of Digital Media to manage our central Digital Media team, for a 6-month period.
In this pivotal role, you will drive paid media performance and insights for our publishing divisions, overseeing the planning, negotiation, and execution of paid digital media campaigns across multiple platforms including paid search, social and programmatic.
Your expertise will ensure optimal placement and cost efficiency, propelling our digital presence to new heights.
Key responsibilities:

Lead a team of 6 Paid Media Specialists, to plan and execute digital media briefs, acting as a strategic advisor and main point of escalation.

Manage resource allocation across the Digital Media team.

Ensure effective briefing and campaign setup processes meet the needs of our Publishing Houses.

Drive the evolution of our paid media strategy and deliver actionable insights from Test & Learn initiatives.

Report on performance providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations that build support and buy-in to mature campaigns.

Oversee the planning, negotiation, and execution of paid digital media campaigns across multiple platforms for optimal placement and cost efficiency.

Produce and present key insights and learnings from Test & Learn opportunities and cross-campaign analysis to establish best practices.

Support divisional marketing with advanced media strategies that align with commercial and brand objectives.

Lead paid media discussions with assigned divisions, providing creative and strategic input.

Coach team members to enhance service delivery to our Publishing Houses.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with media partners, platforms, vendors, and Marketing Directors to enhance business opportunities and ensure smooth operations.
What you will bring
Essential criteria:

Experience in digital media campaign setup, optimisation, and reporting.

Experience in team management.

Strong knowledge of marketing technology and data platforms.

Proven ability to optimise multi-channel and full-funnel media campaigns.

Expertise in creating campaign measurement strategies across owned, earned, and paid digital channels.

Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Exposure to campaign planning and optimisation.
-
A growth mindset, comfortable with learning and adapting based on data.

Salary
£75,000 - £85,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.

Hybrid working
While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important.
