Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring smooth operations? Join our dynamic team at our Fulfilment Centre in Grantham as an Operations Administrator! In this pivotal role, you will support all areas of our centre by delivering administrative excellence across various teams. Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining the seamless operation of our site, making you an integral part of our success.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  •  Provides administration support for the Grantham site to enable all areas to work effectively.
  • Maintains the time and attendance system, ensuring that payroll and holiday recording systems for the site are accurate and provides information as required by the Site Managers.
  • Supports the procurement process and reconciles and codes all invoices through SAP and other financial systems.
  • Attends Site forums and Health and Safety Committee, supporting with note-taking and completing any required actions and supporting the Staff Forum with the organisation of events.
  • Support Health and Safety and sustainability practices, by ensuring key paperwork systems are updated.
  • Works with all areas to support training and communications across the site, organising delegates, their travel and supporting trainers who come on site
  • Maintains all site noticeboards.
  • Supports social impact initiatives that the Grantham site is involved with
  • Is responsible for the procurement and distribution of all Uniform / PPE requests
  • Support the Site Facilities Manager with Health and Safety reporting.
  • To act as a central point for room bookings and travel arrangement for the site.
  • Any other projects that are deemed suitable and reasonable for the postholder to carry out.

 

What you’ll bring

 

Essential criteria:

 

  • Extensive administrative experience
  • Proactive self-starter who enjoys being part of a team.
  • Ability to juggle and prioritise workload.
  • Trustworthy and highly confidential.

 

Preferred criteria:

 

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Competent at using MS Teams, and Outlook to set up virtual meetings and work groups.
  • Strong organisational skills, develops and uses systems to organize and keep track of information or work progress
  • First class communication skills – both written and verbal – and the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • By using their attention to detail, verifies information and checks the accuracy of own and others' work
  • Able to solve problems autonomously
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation.

Salary

 

Up to £26,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.

Hybrid working

 

While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. This is an onsite position and so we expect that you will work from our office in Grantham, Lincolnshire every day. However, flexibility around hybrid working can be discussed at the interview stage.
