If you’re organised, with good attention to detail we might have your perfect next role with our Royalties team, based at our offices in Frating, Colchester.


The number one priority for the Royalties team is to make sure that our authors are paid correctly and on time.


Taking on a busy and varied role, your responsibilities could include everything from setting up author contracts on the system, ensuring royalty calculations are correct, manual calculations using spreadsheets as well as checking statements and sales information. You’ll produce and review reports, and work with departments around the business to clear any queries that come up.


You’ll be doing a job that will make a real impact on the service we deliver to our authors, and you’ll be doing that in a friendly environment that values teamwork and offers opportunity for progression.


What we need from you is a hawk-like attention to detail and very high standard of accuracy to your work. We work to tight deadlines so being able to stay on top of things and know how to prioritise is also crucial.


Ideally, you’ll have worked in an administrative role in an accounts or finance environment, but we’re happy to look at experience from elsewhere too. We’ll be happy to introduce you to our world, and will provide full training on how royalty accounting works – what’s important to us is that you’ve got a head for numbers, and know your way around Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
