Junior Accountant

Join BMG’s dynamic team as a Junior Accountant and take on a vital role in our financial operations. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate execution of weekly payment runs, daily bank reconciliations, and comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations. Your contributions will be essential to our financial integrity and success.

Key Responsibilities.

• Liaise with suppliers, finance team and other business units to ensure a highly efficient and accurate processing of creditor invoices
• Work with shared service team to set up all new vendor accounts and maintain master data
• Attend to internal and external accounts enquiries
• Reconciliation of account receivable and accounts payable
• Accounts Receivable collection review and tracking
• Daily reconciliation of bank accounts
• Support Senior Finance Manager and VP Finance with other tasks and projects

Your Profile.

• A minimum of 1 year experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting is desirable
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• First class communication skills

It’s a plus if you have knowledge / experience of accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle or NetSuite
