VP, Music Publishing US Latin
You’ll be responsible for managing and growing BMG’s US Latin publishing roster. Reporting to the SVP Music Publishing and working closely with the Director Music Publishing, your mission will be to expand BMG’s publishing growth in US Latin. You will be signing new publishing clients and drive their career development. Working closely with the North American & global publishing teams, as well as the creative synch team, you will be developing strategies and innovative approaches in working with clients at every stage of their career.
What You’ll Be Doing.
- Identifying and signing new publishing clients (songwriters/artists/business clients)
- Growing BMG’s US Latin publishing roster through deep market knowledge
- Developing pitches to potential clients and leading the signing process in close collaboration with BMG’s legal and investments teams
- Managing day-to-day relationships with a roster of existing and new clients
- Maintaining and expanding strong relationships within the US Latin industry (labels, artist/songwriter managers, publishers, law firms)
- Collaborating with the US publishing team to proactively create opportunities in the US Latin market for BMG’s broader US publishing roster
- Partnering with wider music publishing team on the conceptualization and execution of client engagement events.
- Basic skills / interests: data analytics, finance, technology, AI developments
- Setting up sessions and collaborations, and pitching songs for commercially viable projects
Must-Haves.
- Previous extensive years of experience in talent management and/or A&R (for example in artist / writer management, talent agency, record label, publishing)
- Strong industry network across Los Angeles and Miami in US Latin, incl. artists, songwriters, managers, attorneys and record label A&Rs.
- Deep knowledge of Latin Music, its diverse sub-genres and understanding of its culture
- Experience with identifying new talent and assessing market potential for songwriters and songs
- Creative thinker with analytical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of key research and analytical tools
A plus if you have non-publishing work experience (for example other media industries, record label, artist management, talent agency)
A plus if you have had previous experience and network in the General Market/ International markets

Pay Range
$150,000 – 173,000 per annum
The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits.
