We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Insights & Analytics Manager to join our growing Digital Sales team!

 

Your Mission at BMG.

You’ll be responsible for supporting the development and management of the global marketing insights & analytic strategy for BMG’s businesses in order to maximise digital sales and streaming revenues for all frontline, catalogue and international releases.

 

Your Responsibilities.

  • Supporting the global marketing & digital teams in identifying industry trends, relevant technology advancements and commercial performance, as well as gathering global insights to further enhance understanding and implement data-driven marketing strategies
  • Supporting the Director Marketing Insights and Analytics
  • Collating, analysing, interpreting and presenting data insights on marketing initiatives, repertoire performance and opportunities, consumer behaviour, artist analytics and performance of digital partners
  • Ensuring the marketing insights and analytics team provides professional and timely delivery of data related tasks and assignments
  • Forging strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business and be a valued contributor in the decision-making process
  • Self-initiating artist, release, label, platform, market or industry analyses and projects, providing actionable insights and recommendations to the business
  • Keeping up to date with shifts and developments in the digital media and streaming landscape across partners and territories. Support the business with direction on the evolution of our revenue formats and service offerings. Help drive improvements and changes in the market through innovation, research and involvement in new projects
  • Analysing social and digital marketing data and work closely with relevant departments to further amplify consumer engagement

 

Your Profile.

  • Digital native with a commercial and analytical mind: passionate about data, insights and research
  • Comfortable working in a small team and an unstructured environment, following self-driven lines of enquiry, formulating and testing hypothesis and engaging key stakeholders to build upon the work
  • Strong communicator who is confident in building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in drawing insights and formulating recommendations from data
  • High level of excel skills with data analysis and report creation experience
  • Strategic/financial modelling skills, knowledge of mathematical/statistical techniques
  • Ability to multi-task, ensure meticulous attention to detail, manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure within demanding timeframes
  • Basic understanding of data warehouses and software used to query, extract and manipulate data
  • Skills in disseminating complex analysis into concise, understandable and actionable presentations
