Coordinator – UK Marketing (New Recordings)
Join BMG’s team to support the Director of UK Marketing and senior marketing team across a range of marketing activities and strategies!
This is a 3-month temporary assignment to start ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up all artist physical, digital and audio digital products within BMG systems. Proactively utilising existing procedures to enhance workflow and implement new procedures where appropriate.
- Liaising with all internal stakeholders – designer, A+R and masters admin, management, production and supply chain to co-ordinate the timely delivery of final products within production deadlines. Monitoring release dates and ensuring any changes to dates or products are communicated and actioned.
- Coordinating, briefing, delivering and approving of advertising, content and marketing materials. Ensuring storage of all items in correct format.
- Updating internal artist project diary and regular artist project reports, timely distribution of project assets.
- Creating and updating artist project decks, physical product sales notes and writing pitching information for digital releases.
- Maintaining dropboxes and Marketing Mix online portal with assigned projects.
- Contributing to artist brainstorms and assisting with the generation and implementation of creative marketing ideas.
- Co-ordinating itineraries and travel arrangements for artists as and when requid.
- Liaising with promoters regarding ticket buys, compiling guest lists.
- Organising showcase events and after shows.
- Managing small projects with the guidance of project marketing lead.

- Internal stakeholders, particularly A+R, digital marketing, digital and physical sales, international marketing, LBA and finance.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, particularly Artist and Artist Management teams, press and promotional companies and sales and distribution partners.
- Developing and maintaining an awareness and understanding of the music industry including the changing face of DSPs and social media platforms.
- Anticipating changes within the music industry and suggesting ways in which BMG can adapt and develop.
- Monitoring and analysing competitor releases and feedback during campaign planning.
- Building and maintaining an industry network.
Your Profile
- Previous marketing experience within a label, DSP, management company, promoter or other music / tech related company
- Understanding of streaming and digital marketing
- Experience with project management
- Strong PowerPoint and design skills
- A strong and personable communicator
Pay Range
£30,000 - £32,000 per annum
The above salary is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs.
