Coordinator Sync Licensing (Clearance / Negotiation)

This role is responsible for handling a high volume of incoming synchronization quote requests across various media, but primarily supporting the advertising team with requests for branded videos, corporate uses and other miscellaneous media. This includes all aspects of the clearance, negotiation and quoting process, responding swiftly to local clients / customers, and building relationships with internal and external sync contacts. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Key point of contact for negotiating, clearing, quoting and securing third party approval as needed on inbound sync requests in local territory.
• Determining appropriate fee quotes for sync usages based on prior licensing history, discussions with media client/licensee and approval/specifications from the writer and / or artist client.
• Build and maintain relationships with songwriters / artists, their representatives, and sync clients / customers.
• Report upward current trends, industry happenings and sync highlights to Direct Lead.
• Preparing confirmed sync documentation for Licensing Administration team to issue long-form synchronization license agreements.
• Collaboration and interactivity across territories with other sync colleagues.
  

Your Profile:

• Experience and / or interest in synchronization licensing field.
• Ability to learn quickly and interest in improving negotiation skills.
• Great communication skills and ability to manage information upwardly and outwardly.
• Ability to network and build relationships with local sync clients.
• Team-oriented and thrives in a collaborative, productive environment.
• Highly organized and adept at Microsoft Office Suite.
