Systems Engineer (f/m/d) Workplace Infrastructure

 

We are looking for a Systems Engineer (f/m/d) Workplace Infrastructure to join our headquarters in Berlin. You are a thorough and a highly flexible, unreserved team player and a great communicator, keen to be part of the world's fastest-growing music company, BMG. Your Mission at BMG.
In this position, you will be part of a team that designs, protects and manages workplace services for BMG globally. You are a passionate and talented IT professional with a strong support mindset, problem-solving abilities, and coding/testing/tuning skills, who can work in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical skill set with a security mindset is a must-have for this role.

 

Your Responsibilities.

  • You take ownership of our Jamf Pro MDM environment to manage our Macs and iOS devices and ensure regular patching of software and OS.
  • You manage the NetApp file share service and work with external partner to ensure support.
  • You are in charge of the global Teams/Polycom based video conferencing services and ensure speedy response to highly visible service issues.
  • Ensuring patching of wide range of local branch office workplace infrastructure (phone systems, video conference units, printers, etc.) is part of your daily business.
  • You support PC SCCM/Intune packaging, manage testing and rollout processes and configuration of devices via group policy.
  • Monitoring, alerting and maintaining workplace services (including the design and implementation of a mature event management solution) is your responsibility.
  • You stay abreast of emerging technologies and threats; proactively assess and evaluate the adoption thereof into the organization.
  • You are available to travel to BMG offices globally to support project rollouts.

 

Your Profile.

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
  • You have gained wide experience in a workplace management role or a similar field within a professional IT environment. 
  • You have a solid understanding of network technologies, routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, proxy etc.
  • Corporate video conferencing products are no strangers to you.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills characterize you. 
  • You display strong abilities to engage and collaborate with diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Expertise & experience in end device package management and support procedures completes your profile.
  • English fluency is essential, German skills are a plus.
