Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) AI Automation

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) to join our AI Automation team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and deploying cutting-edge AI-driven automation solutions across BMGs application stack. You will leverage your full-stack expertise to develop and enhance user-centric interfaces and robust, scalable backend systems that power our AI initiatives. 

As a key member of our IT team, you will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, working with the newest technologies in a cloud-native environment. What you’ll be doing 

• Design and develop end-to-end AI automation solutions, encompassing both intuitive front-end user interfaces and scalable, cloud-native backend systems. 
• Translate user journeys into functional and visually appealing front-end components, with a focus on React and modern UI frameworks that can be integrated into existing applications or work as standalone applications. 
• Work alongside and guide external engineers and product development teams to make changes required to expand automation and guide successful AI integrations. 
• Build and maintain robust backend services utilizing modern technologies such as Fast API and NodeJS in a Kubernetes (K8S) environment. 
• Work with databases like Postgres and MySQL but also Data Warehouses like BigQuery to ensure efficient data management and seamless integration within AI automation workflows. 
• Embrace and implement cloud native technologies and architectural patterns to drive innovation and maintain a cutting-edge technology stack. 
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of all software components, adhering to best practices for software development and cloud deployment. 
• Collaborate closely with product managers, ML engineers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality, impactful AI automation solutions. 

What you bring  

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development in cloud-native environments. 
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  
• Proven expertise in front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, with a strong understanding of user journeys and component-based architecture. 
• Strong back-end development skills with experience in NodeJS, GraphQL, FastAPI, or similar modern technologies, and a solid understanding of building scalable APIs. 
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes (K8S), and cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud). 
• Solid understanding of database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL) and experience in designing and implementing efficient data models. 
• Passion for exploring and implementing the latest technologies and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the rapidly evolving tech landscape. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in agile teams, with strong communication and collaboration abilities. 
• Experience with AI/ML related projects or a strong interest in learning about AI technologies and Agentic Systems is a plus.
