Manager (f/m/d) Creative Synch

As part of the BMG Creative Synch team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment to service all areas of the BMG catalog. That includes both frontline and catalog for BMG Recorded as well as BMG Publishing. Based in Berlin, your primary focus will be to help secure synchs in the advertising, film & tv industry—and you will also work closely in tandem with the entire Creative Synch team. 
 

What you'll be doing

• Work with the BMG Creative Synch team on creative/pitching needs, with a focus on the advertising media, but also servicing film and tv clients
• Drive various new business initiatives (research, outreach, ad agency showcases, etc.) pertaining to the advertising, film & tv industry 
• Attending / organizing advertising, film and tv industry events and BMG artist performances 
• Work in tandem with BMG A&R/catalog/label teams and international synch teams in securing synch friendly repertoire 
• Creating content for marketing tools pertaining to BMG repertoire
• Work on Bespoke projects for advertising, film and tv projects (securing bespoke opportunities, organizing songwriting sessions and camps, handling and moderating feedback rounds between artists and writers and synch clients).
• Create internal tools/playlists as needed and circulate incoming audio internally.
• Create decks, presentations, and reels for client presentations

What you bring

• You have some previous experience in working in synch (label or publisher, music agency, music supervisor or ad agency) 
• You have familiarity with pitching music to music supervisors
• You have an understanding of master/publishing rights and a familiarity with the GSA advertising, film and tv industry as it pertains to music 
• You have strong follow-up and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interface with high-level personnel
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced/high-volume environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
