Your mission
As General Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in our smart and innovative procurement processes. Your mission is to ensure cost-optimal and timely purchasing of materials and services in the required quality and quantity through uniform procurement processes. You will lead the newly established purchasing processes and strategy, and shape the future of our procurement organization as we continue to expand globally.
Your responsibilities
- You will be responsible for overall P2P processes within BMG (automation and ensuring legal requirements, e. g. ICS esp. Segregation of Duties, Supply Chain Act, Posting of Workers Act etc.)
- Monitor the local ordering processes (SAP-MM usage, and catalogue system, fulfillment of documentation obligations).
- Be in charge of the overall management of Catalogue buying channel (provider selection, content monitoring, performance measurement).
- Lead tendering and negotiating of selected regional/category framework agreements (economic conditions, safeguarding of contractual rights and obligations, reporting on savings and contract usage).
- Conduct trainings and ensure procurement guidelines and processes are well understood by the internal stakeholders.
Your profile
- You have completed your studies in Business Administration or have a comparable educational background.
- You have proven experience in procurement activities and possess a solid knowledge of indirect spend management.
- You have hands-on knowledge of the SAP module MM and are experienced in designing and optimizing P2P processes.
- It would be beneficial if you have previous experience with catalogue management.
- You are a strong communicator who is eager to shape the future of BMG's procurement activities.
- English fluency is required.
- You are open to occasional travel activities.
