Your Tasks

  • Partnering with HR leadership and contingent labor films to ensure adequate staffing levels, Identifying seasonal trends in volume and turnover
  • Working with associates to identify and develop training, as well as developing department structure to meet customer’s needs
  • Assisting director with department hiring decisions
  • Establishing interdepartmental rapport to facilitate in identifying and then resolving issues quickly
  • Coaching employees to further develop their technical skills
  • Change management-  leading projects to improve current processes within the department and site

Your Profile

  • Ideally two years in a relevant IT environment
  • Associate degree or a minimum of 5 years of management experience within manufacturing and/or distribution environments 
  • At least 5 years of operations leadership experience within fast paced environments
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience troubleshooting equipment, both hands on and by coaching operators and maintenance personnel within a manufacturing setting
  • At least 2 years of proven experience analyzing problems within manufacturing and/or distribution environments and instituting standards and continuous improvement solutions
  • At least 3 years of experience communicating with personnel at different levels
  • Willing and able to work non traditional hours to support  24 hour, 5-7 days/week print and binding production operations 
  • Knowledge of the specific nature of the business and the portfolio of services of the Business Units, and incorporating this knowledge into expertise
  • Recognizing current trends
  • Recognizing and creating customer needs (e.g. product details) as part of existing customer relations.
