As a Transport Manager, you are responsible for setting up the processes for implementing the transport solutions for the new client. With your expertise in process optimization within transport management, you play a crucial role in this implementation. How exciting is that?

YOUR TASKS

•    Central point of contact for requests for quotations (RFQs), implementation and optimization
•    Close collaboration with customers, solution design, and key account management on transport-related topics
•    Optimization and monitoring of transport solutions
•    Responsibility for process optimization within transport management
•    Direct contact with carriers, participation in business reviews, and active contribution to ensure prompt carrier performance
•    Use of cost, quality, and service metrics to evaluate and implement the best transport practices for customers.

YOUR PROFILE

•    A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Logistics
•    5 years of transportation experience, preferable in a European 3PL environment
•    Experience managing a complex, multi-modal transportation network
•    High level of interest and understanding of IT related Transport management systems
•    Extensive experience in customer and project management
•    Excellent communication skills on all levels, including customer communication
•    Strong analytical skills that help you explore logistics – engineering - automation solutions.
