YOUR TASKS

  • Lead and manage a team of Customs Declarants
  • Oversee and manage export and customs procedures, implementing changes in response to legislative and regulatory updates
  • Support Declarants in preparing, reviewing, and distributing export documents, ensuring compliance with export regulations for each shipment
  • Proactively take part in the optimization, development, testing, and implementation of new systems, processes, legislation, and customer requirements
  • Monitor, report, and manage import and export customs processes, including executing the monthly GPA declaration and reporting to the Customer Coordinator at Customs. Coordinate declarations and process statistical data for CBS, Intrastat, and listings
  • Handle customer communications related to customs projects
  • Contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of new systems, processes, legislation, and customer requirements.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Started or completed education as Customs declarant / Customs consultant
  • Knowledge of national and European customs and sanctions legislation
  • Familiarity with the products and services of a logistics service provider
  • Proficiency in systems for primary and supporting processes (e.g., Microsoft, SAP, Duty Management System)
  • Good command of the English language
  • Experience in a managerial role is a plus, but not required.
