The Sr. Analyst, Transportation Management Execution is responsible for managing and supervising daily transportation activities, ensuring efficient, timely, and safe collection and delivery of goods. This role coordinates with carriers, service delivery and other internal teams to optimize transportation schedules, resolve issues in real-time, and meet collection and delivery performance. This person will be a functional leader of the Service Delivery team members assigned for Transport execution, providing them guidance and quick escalation paths towards carriers organization and the transportation management organization.
YOUR TASKS
Transportation Management
- Oversee and support daily transportation collection schedule to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery.
- Supervises scheduling of collections for each assigned site.
- Monitor real-time transport execution to identify and resolve issues that may delay deliveries.
- Utilizes TMS to pinpoint any inefficiencies in data or process on Arvato or carrier site.
- Manages the various MOTs and ship types, gives inputs of when changes are needed.
Cross department activity
- Works with and supports Service Delivery team.
- Works with DC outbound and inbound teams to support carrier collections and deliveries.
- Conduct regular carrier performance evaluations.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the transportation team.
Issue Resolution
- Proactively identify and resolve operational and systematic issues related to vehicle availability, route optimization, and traffic delays.
- Handle incidents and emergencies, coordinating with relevant teams to minimize service disruptions.
- Manages and logs changes of routing and carrier allocation.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track and analyze key transport metrics: on-time delivery, on-time collection and tender acceptance.
- Prepare regular performance reports; recommend improvements for efficiency and reduced costs.
- Understands the rate structure on client accounts; able to support other departments, such as finance.
- Supports monthly billing process.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all transportation activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures, safety audits, and ensure adherence to company policies.
YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and route planning tools.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
- For performance reporting and identifying operational inefficiencies.
- Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams, drivers, and logistics partners.
- Highly organized with a strong focus on accuracy and process compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with logistics software.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience with transportation software like SAP, Oracle TMS, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principles in logistics.
