Your Task
- Assist in processing weekly, bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll runs with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Enter new hires, status changes, offboardings and employee updates in the HRIS system.
- Review and reconcile employee timesheets and clock-in data.
- Approve Paid Time Off (PTO) requests in accordance with policy.
- Run and distribute regular and ad hoc payroll, attendance, and audit reports.
- Upload payroll documentation to vendor portals (e.g., registers, remittance files).
- Conduct basic HRIS training for new hires or managers as needed.
- Respond to employee inquiries about pay, PTO, or timekeeping issues.
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and company policies.
- Support the HR, Finance and Payroll team with additional tasks as assigned.
Your Profile
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking, reporting, and reconciliation (e.g., pivot tables, formulas)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Effective communicator with a service mindset
- Problem-solver who takes ownership and follows through
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or administration preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management or Business Analytics or similar business degree preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Working knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
- Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom UKG, Kronos, or similar), a plus
