As an IT Network Administrator, you will act as an expert and consultant for the various departments within our company and support the operation of our platform together with your teammates.
Your Tasks
- As an IT Network Administrator you will be responsible for the piloting and implementation of new technologies (on premise, cloud) and will be responsible for the further development of our network towards cloud readiness and Microsoft Cloud
- As part of a team, you support the expansion of new technologies in the group-wide IT architecture for secure networks
- The updating and optimization of international networks and network components as well as their standardization is also one of your responsible tasks
- You will support the operation of our international network and advise internal departments on their requirements with regard to network connections and optimizations
- You control and monitor external service providers
- Manage and maintain all production network equipment servicing the Company by configuring, patching and monitoring switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Manage and maintain global infrastructure monitoring software tools that audit all IT infrastructure components for availability and provide historical views of health stats and uptime.
Your Profile
- Successfully completed studies in computer science or business informatics or successfully completed training as an IT specialist for system integration
- In-depth experience in the field of networks, especially in Cisco architectures as well as in Cisco hardware, firmware and infrastructures - proof of CCNP certification is desirable
- Willingness to travel and be on call (also internationally) to expand the company-wide network and ensure system availability ability to work in a team and an independent way of working
- Ability to Commute or Relocate/Location Address: Louisville, Kentucky - preferred
