Are you a dedicated and motivated team player seeking an exciting opportunity? Look no further! We are actively hiring for the role of an Armada WCS / Warehouse Automation Analyst.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, and maintaining the workflow of critical warehouse automation software that powers shipment conveyors, sorter arms, and CMC machinery across multiple sites in the United States. Your primary focus will be addressing system-down issues within the US Region by collaborating closely with our international colleagues. Together, we escalate issues, communicate failures, and find swift resolutions. You’ll work alongside US-based teams of SAP DevelopersForms Architects, and Logistics Engineers to ensure seamless workflow and business continuity.

 

Your Tasks

  • Logistics Expertise:
    • You possess a deep understanding of logistics, including integrated Warehouse Management (WM) with handling unit (HU) management, RF scanningbatch management, and serialization.
    • Your knowledge extends to shipping and transport management.
  • Global IT Team Collaboration:
    • You are part of a global IT team responsible for process alignment within the US region, serving numerous clients.
    • Your role involves ensuring seamless integration and alignment of technology solutions across different locations.
  • Efficiency Enhancement:
    • You proactively identify opportunities to increase efficiency within warehouse processes.
    • By leveraging automation, you contribute to streamlining operations and reducing manual effort.
  • Quality Assurance and Monitoring:
    • Establishing robust monitoring and quality assurance processes is crucial.
    • You continuously monitor system performance and address any deviations promptly.
  • Customer-Centric Approach:
    • Your strong customer orientation drives effective problem-solving and support.
    • You prioritize stakeholder needs and ensure timely communication.
  • Travel Requirements: Domestic and international travel is required about 30% of the time.

 

Your Profile

 

Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), automation technologies, and RFID applications.
  • Practical experience with SAP R/3, SAP S/4, and EWM-MFS (including ABAP, modules SD/MM/FI, and WM).
  • 3 years of SAP experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of C#, .NET Core, MS SQL Server, and Azure DevOps is advantageous.

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose process improvements.
  • Work with business users to gather details on issues and accurately categorize them for prompt resolution.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams (Warehouse Operations, Engineering, Logistics Management) to align technology solutions with business needs.
  • Clearly and proactively identify problematic issues (data or process) and communicate system problems to management and stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate issues to international colleagues.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in warehouse automation.
  • Problem-Solving and Detail-Oriented Approach:
  • Address system issues promptly and coordinate resolution.
  • Provide high-quality support across all areas of warehouse operations.

Independence and Customer Orientation:

  • Work independently in an international environment.
  • Demonstrate strong customer orientation, commitment, and initiative.

Education and Experience:

  • A degree in computer science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Exposure to robotics, process automation, and programmable logic controllers.

Location Considerations:

  • Must be able to commute/relocate to: Louisville, KY or Pleasant Prairie, WI or Valencia, CA.
