YOUR TASKS

 

  • As an Implementation Manager you are responsible for managing large and complex projects, such as the implementation of new won large customers and realization of large scale automation such as Autostore, shuttle and pallet highbay. Projects start after the business award and finish with the successful handover to operations.
  • You are responsible for making your projects a success, meaning the project is finished within the right scope, time and budget. 
  • Manage the project team consisting of multiple workstream leads and support roles.
  • Guide decision making by the steering committee by frequently providing a status update and by providing the steering committee with the right and fact based information. 
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. Mature counterpart of the customer’s or supplier’s organization.
  • Applying the Arvato NL project methodology in your daily work, which is based on Prince2.
  • You will report to the Director Logistics Engineering.

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Logistics, (Technical) Business Administration or (Industrial) Engineering;
  • Self-driven, with a measured persistence based on a hunger to succeed and grow with your team and the customer;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Interpersonal intelligence: In addition to solid communication skills, it is also of importance to possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively inspire and lead the people you work with. From customers to stakeholders, you get others on board with your vision;
  • You regularly perform extensive market research to determine what our consumers need as well as where competitors stands in relation to our organization. 
  • Preferably experience with the implementation of large scale warehouse automation, like Autostore and shuttle systems 
  • Ability to communicate in English language (written and oral), Dutch would be beneficial.
