Carbel, part of Arvato, is a full-service 3PL provider serving national and international clients across various industries, with a strong focus on fashion and retail. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for providing accurate and timely payroll processing and administrative support for the site’s operations and leadership teams, including Human Resources. This position serves as the on-site eTime subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with payroll processes, facilitating new hire onboarding, and maintaining accurate employee time and labor records. The role requires close collaboration with site leadership, HR, and Payroll teams.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Administer weekly/bi-weekly payroll for 1,000+ employees using ADP eTime.
  • Review and audit electronic timesheets to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve missed punches; notify managers/supervisors for timely corrections.
  • Enter payroll/timecard adjustments submitted after payroll deadlines.
  • Process labor account changes and maintain accurate department/job coding.
  • Provide payroll support and guidance to site leadership and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with corporate payroll and finance teams to resolve paycheck or report discrepancies.
  • Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly payroll reports using ADP tools.
  • Assist with optimizing eTime functionality for internal teams and provide user support.
  • Support onboarding activities for new hires, including SSPs and FTEs
  • Partner with Security on badge creation and locker assignments.
  • Submit and track invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports through Workday and SAP.
  • Manage company purchasing via POs and company credit card for office supplies, vendor payments, and event needs.
  • Plan and coordinate on-site events, meetings, and associate engagement activities.
  • Provide direct administrative support to the Site Director and Leadership Team

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Prior experience processing payroll and managing timekeeping systems for large employee populations.
  • Proficiency in timekeeping platforms.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and general proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Capable of working independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
