Carbel, part of Arvato, is a full-service 3PL provider serving national and international clients across various industries, with a strong focus on fashion and retail. The Fulfillment Trainer will provide essential training (new hire, cross training, and refresher training to associates in the operation). The responsibility of the position is to facilitate the fulfillment center’s training programs to associates utilizing our standards to achieve success in their job and meet our client’s needs. Remain proficient in other fulfillment center areas and assist with processing when needed.

YOUR TASKS

  • Ensure the training checklist and all other training documents are completed to their entirety and returned to the department supervisor

  • Support the fulfillment center’s initiatives and associate onboarding

  • Coordinate with other departments on processes and procedures

  • Provide continued training to associates as requested by leadership

  • Observe associates work and provide feedback to leadership

  • Provide training on the most current up to date standard operating procedures

  • Utilize the training checklist to track and document concerns/ issues with trainees and report to onboarding and training lead and supervisor

  • Work closely with leads and supervisors, maintaining timely communication

  • Keep the department supervisor informed of daily training progress

  • Communicate to the trainee expectations around our core values, productivity, and quality

  • Advanced knowledge and ability to effectively perform in multiple functional areas of the fulfillment operation to prepare, process and move merchandise productively, safely, accurately and per established standards, guidelines, and production rates

  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned

  • Must possess visual acuity to read labels, RF scanners and to maneuver throughout the facility

  • Must be able to understand instructions

  • Must possess the capability to walk or stand for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to climb stairs

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and grasp products

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

  • Must be able to push or pull carts of up to 100 pounds
