Hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week

 

Are you a hands-on IT professional with a passion for providing outstanding support and maintaining robust IT systems? We’re looking for a proactive and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our IT and communications systems.

 

Your Tasks

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support, addressing user queries related to system access, passwords, hardware/software, and general help desk issues via the ITSM tool.
  • Build systems using standard Modern Workplace images and toolsets.
  • Purchase, configure, and install hardware and IT consumables in a timely manner.
  • Manage system and software licensing as well as telecommunication setup and maintenance.
  • Ensure secure and correct setup of user accounts, directories, access rights, and network printing.
  • Perform routine server maintenance and backups in line with company protocols.
  • Maintain security compliance across company devices.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve technical issues and escalate bugs with third-party vendors.
  • Deliver user training and support across the business.
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to IT best practices.

 

 

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in a similar IT support or systems administration role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO).
  • Experience with Modern Workplace environments and tools.
  • Proficient in device management using Microsoft Intune and Defender for Endpoint/MDE.
  • Excellent understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and remote access services (VPNs, RDP).
  • Solid knowledge of hardware: servers, PCs, printers.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft environments, including previous versions.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases, Veeam backup systems, and IP-based phone systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
