The QA Inspector works in a team setting to reach warehouse operations goals and performs basic warehouse duties including shipping, packing, loading, unloading, and sorting. These duties include responsibility for the quality control associated with the inspections they perform in their area. The qualified candidate needs to be persistent and committed to meeting and exceeding customer requirements.

YOUR TASKS

  • Meeting daily productivity goals (quality inspections) per program

  • Accurately performing their work and completing it in a timely manner

  • Monitors and actively ensures daily orders are completed.

  • Record inspection information and results onto the inspection forms/scanners.

  • Ensure production standards & SOPs are followed as per guidelines.

  • Ensures final production meets customer specifications

  • Maintains accuracy of transactions and inventory in Warehouse Management systems

  • Interface with and assist management to ensure key objectives are realized

  • Ensure Sample Plans are followed as per guidelines.

  • Ensures correct materials and documents are being used

  • Ability to close orders/jobs using various systems when required

  • Verifies that print and bindery personnel are following documented quality control procedures when assigned to the print department

  • Notify manager of any procedure problems found or potential issues that may result in a sub-standard product or a non-conformance

YOUR PROFILE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English effectively(bi-lingual a plus)

  • Experience in quality inspection and/or quality control

  • Proficiency with data entry using a PC and familiarity with MS Office applications

  • Detail-oriented and attention to process detail (a must)

  • Ability to learn and teach new processes when necessary

  • High School diploma or GED (required)

  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus

  • Great Organizational Skills

  • Digital Print QA experience in a print and production environment preferred

  • Must be able to regularly stand; use hands, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms

  • Ability to occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch and talk or hear.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds unassisted and up to 70 pounds with assistance
