International Networking Event for Management, Data and Media Innovators (f/m/d)
Are you a student ready to shape the future of digital business with your innovative, team-oriented and tech-savvy mindset? Are you eager to delve into a real-world case study and develop strategies for utilizing data and generative AI in the media, services and education sectors? If so, we’d like to invite you to take part in our premier networking event for business, data and creative innovators in Berlin*.
Talent Meets Bertelsmann (TMB) is your opportunity to establish valuable connections with media and management experts from a multinational corporation, as well as students from all over Europe. Throughout the event, you’ll be meeting outstanding individuals and gain unique insights into one of the largest media companies in the world.
This unique international networking event for AI enthusiasts will take place in Berlin from June 16 to 18, 2025.
At this three-day student ideas lab, you will:
- Join a team of fellow students from diverse backgrounds and generate novel ideas around Bertelsmann’s growth priorities in online education, global content and services,
- Collaborate in workshops on trending topics – last year, these included AI governance, digital fitness and creator economy,
- Tackle the challenges of digitalization and explore the possibilities of AI
- Work closely with experienced Bertelsmann intrapreneurs,
- Develop innovative ideas within an interdisciplinary team,
- Present your ideas to a jury of Board members,
- Compete for the chance to win exciting prizes.
A virtual kick-off will take place on June 1, 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM CEST. Participation is not mandatory; however, we highly recommend that you join the event to get to know the people with whom you will be spending three days in Berlin. As a participant of Talent Meets Bertelsmann, you will benefit from:

We will be happy to invite you to come to this exceptional forum for creative minds if you:
- Are a currently enrolled Bachelor, Master or MBA student or a Ph.D. candidate in the field of data science (e.g. statistics, computer science or business analytics), business (e.g. economics or management) or creativity (e.g. humanities, media management or journalism),
- Have gained experience in projects outside your course of studies (e.g. through internships, research work, hackathons, volunteer work, etc.),
- Have displayed above-average academic performance and have strong analytical and communication skills,
- Currently reside in Europe,
- Provide proof of your proficiency in English,
- Let us know what makes you a true innovator in either business, data or creativity.

Once we have reviewed your application, you may be invited to the second round of the selection process, which is an asynchronous video interview. Alternatively, you can opt for a phone interview. If you’re a match, you will receive an invitation for the event by the beginning of June.

*We’ll organize your accommodation and cover your hotel costs as well as your travel expenses: up to €350 for students traveling within Germany and up to €500 for students traveling from other European countries.
