 Position Title: HRSS C&B Specialist

Position Summary:

Assumes responsibility for the planning, management and completion of various Compensation and Benefits requirements. Identifies needed resources and handles escalation. Assigns tasks and responsibilities.



Overall Responsibilities:

Compensation and Benefits Administration

  • Manage the compensation and benefits administration process (statutory and company initiated).
  • Ensure that employees and new hires are enrolled with SSS, BIR and PhilHealth on a timely manner.
  • Manage the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure that processes are in place for efficient customer service management and resolution.
  • Help review processes to identify gaps and provide recommendations to bridge inefficiencies.
  • Ensure that all issues and concerns are dealt with on a timely manner by the Specialists.
  • Attend to, investigate and implement necessary actions to address escalated inquiries and concerns and escalate complex issues to higher management as necessary.
  • Coordinate with Compensation and Benefits Specialists on escalated issues and its resolution.
  • Help ensure constant communication and coordination with the brokers for any concerns on the HMO and Group Term Insurance, which includes annual renewal of contract.


HRIS & Personnel File Management

  • Oversee the proper turnover of personnel file from recruitment upon hire and ensures that 201 information of employees are complete and endorsed by Client HR.
  • Ensure that all statutory files  and documents are securely kept and organized 
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all information held on HR files, both manual and electronic
  • Provide monthly audit and update to the Client HR  on the status of employee information.
  • Ensure data is entered in the appropriate HR systems upon request of HR customers in an effective and accurate manner.
  • Interacts with other departments for data transfers (eg Payroll, movements, etc..)
  • Issue certificate of employment as requested.
  • Request approval for payment for Visa processing.
  • Ensure that Visa and Permits of expat employees are in-place
  • Issue documents needed for visa application such as guarantee letter, COE etc.
  • Main responsible in providing business visa as required by company.

Employee Relations

  • Maintain effective business relationships with support staff and managers by providing HR services to them
    • Support line managers to manage and develop their people effectively by providing professional and timely advice and support includes guiding and helping them in instilling progressive discipline if needed
    • Help resolve employee relations issue and concerns and ensures that due process is followed if applicable
    •  Ensure the probationary and regularization process is adhered to
    •  Ensure that employees are kept informed and updated on key business and organizational changes;  In charge of sending out announcements for site related matters
    • Conduct FGD sessions and forums  with employees, ensure that feedback received is cascaded to departments concerned


Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Managers specializing in HR Shared Services.
  • Good People Management Skills/Experience. (Ability to lead and recommend improvements in terms of recruitment processes)
  • Able to handle escalations (Can perform under pressure)
  • Must be able to exemplify best HR practices and experience in guiding HR Shares Services team.
  • Must be able to maintain good personal and work relationships within the company
  • Good communication skills
  • High confidence level (fosters collaborative relationships and communicate for impact)

Standard General Security Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Understand and adhere to policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of Information Assets, integrity of customer transactions, proper and ethical utilization of access privileges and resources provided to perform the role.
  • Undertake periodic information security, safety and business continuity training and other such training prescribed for the group in a timely manner.
  • Enforce information security policies and initiatives within operational scope
  • Participate in incident response, safety and business continuity plan tests and drills whenever required.
  • Perform the Checker function by ensuring regular floor walks and other checks happen to ensure that operational security requirements are met with at all times.
  • Proactively report actual or suspected vulnerabilities, security incidents and breaches in the confidentiality, integrity or availability of Information assets as per the Company’s Incident Reporting Process.
  • Ensure timely closure of security incidents within the team.
