Arvato Systems (Bertelsmann) is a global company providing services and solutions to clients. We are expecting intensive growth in North America, and we are looking for an Inside Sales Rep to join us in this exciting period.

 

YOUR CHALLENGE The Inside Sales Rep will work closely with the Serialization Sales Team. This individual will need to be organized, thorough, responsive, detail oriented, reliable and a good communicator with strong phone skills. The ability to multi-task is required. This position will report to the Sales Director and assist him in the achieving annual quota for the company.

  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Prospect, cold call, qualify, and develop existing and new customers to keep pipeline of opportunities evergreen and to increase revenue 
  • Focus on key opportunities that are consistent with the company’s strategies and capabilities. Understand customer’s requirements, overall objectives and requirements to propose the best solution 
  • Develop, manage, and maintain industry contacts with decision makers and influencers 
  • Propose and implement strategies to expand revenue and accounts within the assigned target account.
  • Work on developing a strong customer relationship to ensure maximum satisfaction, repeat business, and increased market share 
  • Collect information on customer’s unfulfilled needs and potential product/services improvements 
  • Establish forecasts and maintain current customer and prospective account records and provide reports on accounts and sales activity as directed by management through company CRM system 
  • Participates in trade shows by representing the organization and sharing information on products and services 
  • Keep current on company’s product and solutions, and industry trends 

 

YOU MUST HAVE 

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry . Track & Trace solution is a PLUS
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical packaging marketplace: customer requirements, applications, regulations, packaging plant locations, decision makers, and key players 
  • Ability to research external databases to identify prospects
  • Social media savvy (i.e. LinkedIn, Face Book, Twitter, etc.)
  • Internet & Computer savvy
  • Interpersonal skills are critical
  • Ability to work in an unstructured problem-solving environment and synthesize strategy, plans, and solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment 
  • Able to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a team environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and negotiating skills 
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving skills 

 

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE 

  • BS in Business Management, Engineering, Software, Computer Science or Marketing 
  • 3-5 years of successful sales experience of technical products in B2B environment 
  • Self-directed individual capable of proactive leadership with supervision from a remote location 
  • Experience selling technology products; selling to pharmaceutical industry and/or packaging equipment sales plus 
  • Achiever and a performer. Must be one of the top performers in achieving the sales targets & Goals 
  • Ability to manage multiple and complex sales processes 
  • Working knowledge of Solution Selling, Customer centric Selling methodologies 

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 

· Willingness to Travel- 30%

· Hold a valid driving license 

· Legally able to work in the USA
