Manager, Platform Services

SpotX is looking for a talented individual to join the Platform team in a Manager capacity. Working from our LA office in Playa Vista, you as the person in this role will be responsible for managing and growing existing publisher relationships in a variety of fashions including, but not limited to, strategy development, tool training and yield optimization. 

 

The Manager, Platform Services will be responsible for managing and growing existing publisher relationships as the owner of the account. We work to ensure an optimal relationship with each account and that each partner’s charters are achieved. They will interact daily with the SpotX Operations team who is based in Colorado.

 

Making an Immediate Impact: 

  • Owner and business lead of media owner/publisher portfolio (encompassing all customer types) with additional emphasis & assignment to Strategic & High Value customers                                                
  • Create and develop a strategy for successfully transitioning customers to Ad Server relationship & evangelize approach internally                   
  • Participate in & lead key client presentations and support new client on-boarding                         
  • Develop strong, collaborative partnerships with customer stakeholders and leadership in effort to fuel client growth & increase the lifetime value of relationship                                                                                    
  • On quarterly basis present one topic to Global Platform Services team as a Subject Matter Expert designed to improve internal process, external sales approach, and/or industry education              
  • Assist in pre-sales process, when applicable and confirmed by Business Development, of new accounts whose onboarding is imminent           
  • Provide consultative, strategic support and feedback to Leadership team on assigned book of clients
  • Collect, organize, and present new feature requests to communicate directly to Product team    
  • Oversee account execution within the team, reporting KPIs and rollup of program adoption, account risk and mitigation strategies                        
  • Act as solution-oriented internal change agent that asks questions, seeks to understand, and strives to help SpotX improve     
  • Foster a collaborative environment to encourage respectful exchange of ideas
  • Work collaboratively with Ops team & leadership to further hone and develop processes, best practices and new approaches for the department 

 

Needed SpotX’er talents: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in the online digital space, ideally with publishers, networks, SSPs/DSPs, and exchange platforms
  • Familiarity with online video advertising
  • Must have a strong ability to present and effectively engage in detailed conversations with clients
  • Ability to understand/present complex products and deal structures
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high growth, and technical environment
