Your key responsibilities:

As a Software Engineering Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of a team composed of both software engineers and QAs. You'll lead by example, ensuring technical excellence while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth across your diverse team. You will:
 

  • Lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse team of IT professionals and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and direction in technical aspects, mentorship, and coaching to team members, supporting continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Own the recruitment and onboarding of new IT talents within their area of responsibility / their team.
  • Support relevant Stakeholders (e.g., the Product Owner or Manager) in maintaining consistency, performance, transparency, predictability, resiliency, and other team setup-related matters.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to foster the engineering/excellence culture and collaboration within and across teams.
  • Facilitate discussions and conflict resolution.

 

What you should bring to the team: 

  • Experience in team leadership, with a strong track record of managing diverse teams, ideally including software engineers and QAs. 
  • While a technical background is preferred, what's most important is your ability to mentor, coach, and inspire your team. 
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and fluency in English.
  • You are committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and inclusivity within the team. 
  • Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes to build a high-performing team. 
  • You are also familiar with agile methodologies and best practices in software development and quality assurance.
