Operational Finance Teamlead (Debt collection)

What will be your challenge in the role

• As a team leader, you will lead the team of specialists within the operational finance organization focused to work with debt collection system Ikaros.
• Your target picture and scope of responsibility is an alignment of the processes in Ikaros to finally set-up a cross-border Operational Finance Team Ikaros for Riverty.
• Your team is located in Heerenveen, as well as in Switzerland and Austria so you are able to steer and coach the team remotely.
• You are responsible for safeguarding the payment processes with regard to customers, bailiffs and debtors.
• You will be highly involved in the onboarding of new clients in collaboration with the responsible business units. Here your team will be setting up the financial settings within Ikaros.
• Together with the team, you take care of invoicing to customers and take care of the periodic closings of the financial month.
• You support Experts in specialist areas of the chain.
• You will work together in projects that are closely related to the optimization and design of Ikaros.

What you need to be successful in the role

• You have a bachelor's degree in legal or financial services (HBO niveau).
• You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience within debt-collection and with financial-legal activities.
• Extensive knowledge of the MS Office package, including Excel.
• Knowledge of the Ikaros system is preferred or at least you’re fast in mastering new systems.
• You are fluent in English. Dutch language skills are a plus but not a must have.
• You are in possession of the NVI certificate or are willing to obtain it within 6 months after employment.
• Experience as a teamlead is preferred - or at least you are ready for the next step in your career.
