We are looking for an enthusiastic and process driven Credit Risk Manager (m/f/d), supporting us implementing digital technologies and create streamlined workflows across different Regions (Nordics, DACH, Benelux) while working with colleagues at Riverty to achieve ambitious goals.

You will be part of the Risk Governance team with a focus on the Credit risk area. A group of highly skilled and motivated individuals. The team has a deep understanding of the inner workings of the institute as a whole and provides a supportive atmosphere for professional growth and development. They foster an open and informal atmosphere where colleagues are always willing to offer their support.

As we believe that automation without standardization is hard to achieve, together with the Credit Risk Lead and your functional peers you will embark on a journey aiming at creating a seamless clients journey; embedding policy rules in our workflows ensuring compliance while maintaining our procedures and work instruction up to date.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • You execute underwriting routines and ensure diligent documentation and record keeping
  • You identify and verify new clients by evaluating legal and financial documents regarding onboarding
  • You perform analysis to determine the risk classification based on compliance, KYC and credit risk assessment
  • You gather insights into portfolio performance, defining our risk approach for new commitments and renewals
  • You detect early signs of distress and remediate timely and efficiently
  • You represent Credit Risk in internal projects aimed at delivering these remediations and improving our credit risk lifecycle
  • Finally, you work closely with the users of the systems, answering user and technical questions and providing documentation

 

What you should bring:

  • You have at least 2-4 years of relevant work experience in Credit management/ Risk management including proven track record of change management processes and implementing new tools and ways of working
  • You have a good knowledge of credit risk, payment & banking regulations, financial products and services
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification(s), knowledge of Continuous Improvements Tools (f.e. Jira, Confluence or Microsoft Dynamics) and Techniques (Kaizen, Gemba walks, VSM, etc.) or agile principles and methodologies will be considered as a greater advantage
  • You have fluent Norwegian or Swedish language skills and you are fluent in English - any additional Nordic language or German will be a plus
  • You have a hands-on mentality, you are a team player and you are result oriented
  • You have a passion for continuous improvement and digitalization within the financial sector
