What you will do:

As a Senior UX Writer at Riverty your work will be about creating sustainable financial services by bringing human centricity to life in our organization, to better help us understand the world we design and build for. You will explore, analyze, communicate, and advocate on the topics surrounding bringing relevance in our services for the people they are aimed for.

You’ll join our international team of UX designers, UI designers, service designers, and UX writers, and work alongside peers across Europe. We operate in a regionally-distributed hybrid setup with an expectation of twice-weekly office presence, along with occasional travel for team meetups or cross-functional workshops.

What will be the challenge:

As a Senior UX Writer at Riverty, you’d report to the Design Lead, Payments Core to help our users understand and navigate our service across all channels and touchpoints. You will help connect and unify user journeys across the Riverty app, webshop checkouts, invoicing, payments, and more where you will be an advocate for purpose-driven dialogs and user-centric language and communication.

Your time will mainly be spent:

• Leading and shaping content design strategy and maturity.
• Establishing and maintaining content design guidelines, processes and ways of working.
• Contributing to establishing a content design system.
• Conducting workshops for various audiences and stakeholders.
• Managing stakeholder relationships and supporting with cyclical planning and prioritization.
• Collaborating with UX designers, product managers, and developers to write and improve content which will be implemented across various channel experiences.

You will succeed in this role if you have the following skills:

• Product Writing Proficiency: Skilled in creating clear, concise, and persuasive content for various digital platforms, including micro-texts, websites, apps, and chatbots. 
• Content Design: Capable of conceptualizing and structuring engaging content that meets audience needs and enhances user experience. 
• Collaboration: Experienced in working with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers. 
• Communication: Proficient in simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences, using various writing styles to inform, persuade, or entertain. 
• Strategic Thinking: Understands how wording affects overall goals and can develop plans for effective content management that aligns with organizational objectives. 
• Research Experience: Experienced in collecting and analyzing user feedback to inform content design decisions. 
• Content Governance: Knowledgeable in defining and implementing policies, processes and standards to govern and control the creation, management and publication of content. This includes establishing guidelines, standards and workflows for content creation and maintenance.
• English Fluency (with nice to have fluency and writing experience in an additional language such as: Dutch, German, Swedish, Danish, French, or another European language). 

Nice to haves:
We would be especially excited if you have any of the following (but we’re also excited if you come learn with us):
 

• A background in linguistics.
• Experience working in fintech or with financial services products.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and their application in design.
• Experience with localization or working with Crowdin or other translation tools.
• You’re excited about content-first design.
• Exposure to complex product ecosystems, including B2B, B2C, or B2B2C products.
• Basic knowledge of product development frameworks and technologies.
