Maintenance Mechanic - Westminster 2nd Shift

The Westminster Operations Center for Penguin Random House is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our growing team in Westminster, Maryland.

 

Prior experience working in facility maintenance is desired.  Prior forklift and/or conveyor repair is a plus.  Proven skills relating to electrical and/or mechanical trades are helpful.  Electrical construction skills with the ability to read electrical schematics are desirable.  Prior experience performing duties associated with Siemens or Allen Bradley Programmable Controllers or other relative PLC's is desired but not required.  Additional experience with other crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry and welding will contribute to a well rounded candidate.

 

To qualify for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age, have basic PC skills and physically capable of performing heavy lifting tasks.  The ability to work regular overtime is required.  

 

We are seeking candidates interested in working our 2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm

 

The salary range for this position is dependent on candidate experience, with a starting point from $41,000 to $64,000 ($20-31 per hour) and opportunities to increase with further experience and proven skillsets. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to company results.
