Inventory Control/Quality Assurance Manager

The Logistics Services Management Team is seeking a Inventory Control/Quality Assurance Manager to join their dynamic group. 

 

 Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the daily functions of Stock Control Department
  • Ensure quality of services provided to internal and external customers
  • Lead staff in adherence of consistent procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and maximize efficiency of the department
  • Maintain procedures for departmental tasks
  • Cross training and development of staff
  • Maintains payroll/attendance records
  • Oversee generation of reports and data monitoring/action required
  • Research, assist and resolve exceptions and challenges having a negative impact on operational efficiency, quality, and accuracy of inventory
  • Oversee cycle counting process
  • Oversee Bindery Quality Report process
  • Oversee audits and provide documentation required
  • Liaise with warehouse management team and staff and other internal teams to complete inspections, receive and store product in accordance with procedures and to meet deadlines

  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new methods & systems required to adapt to changes in the work environment
  • PC Proficiency to include Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of SAP and MARC Step Logic a plus
  • 3 years supervisory experience
  • B.S. Degree in Business Management or equivalent job experience
