Maintenance Mechanic - Weekend B Shift $27.00/hr.

The Reno Distribution Center for Penguin Random House is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.  

In this role, you will perform a combination of duties to troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain plant equipment and facilities. 

Prior experience performing duties in an industrial maintenance setting is desirable but not required. Knowledge, experience and troubleshooting skills related to Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Mechanical and Electrical systems are a plus.  Other trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry and welding will contribute to a well-rounded candidate.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 year’s relevant experience, possess basic PC skills and be physically capable of performing heavy lifting.   

The shift hours for this opportunity are Wednesday thru Friday (6am - 2pm), plus Saturday & Sunday (6am - noon).   Work 36 hours but get paid for 40 hours.   Hourly rate for this position is $24.00/hr. and is eligible for 12.5% shift differential. ($27.00/hr.)
