Rights Management Assistant - (Hybrid)

Penguin Random House is hiring an Assistant, Rights Management to perform functions primarily related to the maintenance of royalty vendor master data. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

 

  1. Review and confirm royalty vendor set up 
  2. Review and confirm ACH/IACH/E-Wire payment set up for royalty vendors 
  3. Assist Rights Management Administrator with royalty vendor creation and changes 
  4. Oversee processing of tax levies received from IRS and other government agencies 
  5. Perform address research to locate royalty participants 
  6. Issue unclaimed check letters to royalty participants 
  7. Provide coverage for Royalty phone line when necessary 
  8. Provide coverage for Royalty ACH mailbox when necessary 
  9. Communicating with internal partners such as Contracts, Royalties, Accounts Payable and Editorial 
  10. Flexibility to provide coverage for other tasks as needed

  • Ability to problem solve, manage time, act independently, and be resourceful 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills 
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe 
  • Experience in using SAP systems a plus 

 

Salary for this position is $48,000 and requires some physical presence in the office.
